Bhubaneswar: As many as 14 Class I officers are among the 43 Government officials who have been arrested for corrupt practices so far this year, a press note issued by YK Jethwa, Director Vigilance informed.
The Vigilance has registered 62 cases so far this year, the press note added.
The press note said that Odisha Vigilance with support from the Government is enhancing the human resource capabilities and infrastructure to meet future challenges.
The Vigilance opening its doors for officials from other wings of the Government as well as professional experts such as Bankers, CAs, Engineers, etc. is in the pipeline, the press note added.
The press note stated that procurement of Forensic and Electronic Aids to Detection & Investigation by Vigilance is underway.
With these inputs, Odisha Vigilance is committed to further strengthen its anti-corruption actions with better results in coming the days.
