Bhubaneswar: Odisha continued to witness a surge of cases as 1434 new novel coronavirus cases were detected in the last 24 hours, I&PR Department reported.
As of Sunday morning, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the State rose to 34,913. While 13,404 of these are active cases, so far, 21,273 people have been recovered.
Of the new cases that are spread over 29 districts, the highest of 320 cases are from Ganjam, followed by 218 in Khordha, 197 in Rayagada and 123 in Cuttack.
