Bhubaneswar: A bus ferrying 50 passengers to Kolkata from Bhubaneswar met with a mishap near Narayangarh on National Highway 16 in West Bengal, on Saturday early morning. The mishap has left 15 persons injured. The condition of six passengers out of the injured is stated to be critical.
According to sources, the bus was en route to Kolkata when the bus overturned near Narayangarh on NH 16.
Police and fire brigade officials rescued the injured and rushed them to Makrampur Primary Health Centre. Later, they were shifted to Medinipur Hospital. Two of them reportedly lost their legs in the mishap.
Meanwhile, police initiated a probe into the matter.
