Puri: At least 15 passengers were injured when the driver of a bus lost control of the wheel and the vehicle plunged into a ditch. The accident occurred near Mallikasuli in Odisha’s Puri district. The injured passengers have been admitted to a nearby health centre.
According to reports, the bus was carrying more than 40 passengers en route to Berhampur from Puri. Rescue operations were underway till the time of writing this report.
On being informed, police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the road mishap.
