Bhubaneswar: At least 15 persons, including children and women, sustained critical injuries after a pick-up van overturned in Titlagarh in Odisha’s Bolangir district on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, a group of about 25 people was on their way from Haldi to Gurujimunda in Kalahandi district for a picnic when the driver of the pickup van lost control over the wheels, and the vehicle overturned. The accident occurred near the Patarkela railway level crossing.
The injured have been rushed to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital.
Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation into the accident.
