Bhubaneswar: There is no respite from the severe heatwave conditions prevailing across Odisha for the last 15 days as at least 15 places in the state recorded 34°C and above at 8.30 am on Tuesday.
While Baripada was the hottest place in the state recording 38.4°C, Talcher recorded 37.8°C. The maximum day temperatures in the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar were 35.8°C and 34.6°C respectively today morning.
The day temperatures recorded at 15 places in Odisha at 8.30 am today are:
