Bhubaneswar: With the Panchak and Bada Osha festivities around the corner, preparations are underway at the revered Dhabaleswar Peeth in Cuttack. To ensure a smooth and secure experience for devotees, the district administration has made elaborate arrangements.
Parking facilities will be available at three designated areas, and traffic posts will be set up at 14 locations to manage the flow of vehicles. Two-wheelers will be directed from Nuapatna Chhak to Paikarapur stand, while four-wheelers will be parked in Vidyadharpur and Dhabaleswar Fandi areas, with access via NH 55 from Bali Chhak to Suniamuha road.
A total of 15 platoons of police force will be deployed to maintain law and order, with over 200 police personnel, including 2 Additional SPs, 8 DSPs, and 20 IICs, on duty to ensure security. CCTV cameras will be installed at 32 strategic locations to monitor the premises, and Odraf and fire brigade teams will also be deployed as a precautionary measure. A mock drill was conducted by Cuttack Rural SP to review the preparedness and ensure a peaceful celebration.
