Baripada: More than 16 students of Baripada MPK Girls School fell seriously ill after consuming school hostel food on Thursday afternoon.
According to reports, about 20 students fell ill after having food on Thursday afternoon, but four of the victims were released from the Borigumma Hospital in Koraput district after preliminary treatment.
However, 16 of them were admitted to hospital as their health condition had deteriorated. The condition of the students is not serious and they are likely to recover soon, said the school principal. On the other hand, the Baripada MLA the hospital and inquired about the health condition of the students.
