Bhubaneswar: As many as 17 places in Odisha have recorded a temperature below 15 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours, informed the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre on Thursday.
Phulbani was the coldest with a temperature of 8.8 degree Celsius, followed by Sonepur with 9 degree, Daringbadi and Bhawanipatna with 10 degree, Angul with 11 degree, Talcher with 12.3 degree, Keonjhar and Jharsuguda with 12.8 degree Celsius.
Koraput recorded a temperature of 13 degree Celsius, followed by Baripada with 13.5 degree, Sundargarh and Balangir with 14 degree, Hirakud with 14.3 degree, Sambalpur with 14.4 degree, Boudh, Cuttack and Titilagarh with 14.5 degree Celsius.
The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre further informed that there will be no large change in Minimum temperature (Night Temperature) during the next five days over the districts of Odisha.
Dry weather is most likely to prevail across Odisha. Besides, shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places in the early morning over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Sonepur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda and Cuttack.
