Bhubaneswar: Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha Pravati Parida on Friday announced that the 4th phase money of the first installment under Subhadra Yojana will be credited tomorrow, benefiting 18 lakh women beneficiaries.
This disbursement will take place at a grand programme in Jajpur.
With this disbursement, the total number of women benefited under the scheme will reach 98 lakh.
“The state government has ensured that no eligible beneficiary is left out. Beneficiaries who are currently ineligible due to National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) issues will be included in the scheme by March 8. And those who are newly included in the scheme will receive both the first and second installment money on March 8, International Women’s Day”, she informed.
Parida also stated that out of 3.38 lakh applicants, 59,000 have received NPCI clearance for the Subhadra scheme so far.
“The Subhadra Yojana is designed to empower women in the state, with the goal of transforming them into entrepreneurs. This initiative is not just a flagship program, but a comprehensive effort to foster women’s development and economic independence”, informed Parida.
