Bhubaneswar: Another 19 persons have succumbed to COVID-19 across Odisha. As per the latest reports shared by the Health and Family Welfare Department on Sunday morning, the maximum number of fatalities were reported from Khurda district where 5 persons have died due to coronavirus infection recently.
Similarly, 3 persons in Ganjam, 2 in Angul, 2 in Nabarangpur, and 1 person each in Bhadrak, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Puri have died due to the disease during the last 24 hours.
With this, the COVID toll of Odisha surged to 8,594, with Khurda reporting the most number of COVID deaths (1,636) so far. On Saturday, the State had reported 15 COVID deaths.
