Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Capital today recorded the biggest daily surge in Covid-19 positive cases this year with the detection of 190 new cases in the past 24 hours(till 9 AM) taking the total number of active Covid-19 cases in the city to 1,111.
As per information shared by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), out of the newly detected positives, while 152 are local contact cases, 38 are quarantine cases.
The civic body has informed that 56 Covid-19 patients have recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours.
