**Kalahandi:** In a road mishap, two people died and 24 got injured following a head-on collision between a pickup van and a truck near Kalopala on NH-26 in Dharamgarh here on Tuesday night.
According to the sources, the pickup van carried a wedding band party out of which one member died on-the-spot and another person succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
After getting information, police reached the spot and rushed the injured to nearby hospital.
All the injured were rushed to the Junagarh hospital and later four of them were shifted to the Bhawanipatna hospital after their condition deteriorated.
The police is investigating into the matter.
