2 Drown In River Brahmani In Pattamundai

Pattamundai: Two persons drowned to death while bathing in river Brahmani in Musadiha village of Keshpur panchayat under Pattamundai police limits in Kendrapara district today.

The deceased have been identified as Sujit Das (43) and Chinmaya Das (24).

According to reports, Sujit and Chinmaya of Musadiha village under Pattamundai police limits who happened to be cousins had gone to river Brahmani to take bath in the afternoon today after playing Holi.

While bathing in the river the two suddenly drowned.

They were rescued by the local people and rushed to the Sub Divisional Hospital here. However, doctors declared them dead.
