2 Killed, 2 Others Critical After Two Bikes Collide Head-On In Bolangir

Bolangir: Two bike riders were killed and two others sustained critical injuries after two motorbikes collided head-on on the Madhiapali Bridge under Thisura police limits in Odisha’s Bolangir district on Friday noon.

One of the deceased was identified as Basant Sahu of Arjunpur, while the identity of the other person is yet to be ascertained. The injured have been admitted to the hospital.

According to reports, Basant and another youth were going on some work on his bike, which collided with another bike coming from the opposite direction.

Basant died on the spot while three others were seriously injured. They were admitted to the hospital. The doctor there declared one of the injured dead while the condition of two others is critical.

Police have recovered the bodies and sent them for post-mortem and are investigating the incident.
