2 Killed In Scooter-Bike Collision In Keonjhar

Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, two youths were killed after a scooter collided with a bike on Thursday evening near Tikira Bharat Petrol Pump on National Highway No. 20 in Dhenkikote of  Keonjhar district.

The deceased were identified as Dev Prasad Majhi (24) and Shiva Nandan Pradhan (24).

According to reports, Dev Prasad, son of Bimal Majhi of Tikira village collided his bike head-on with a scooter ridden by Shiv Nandan.

Both sustained critical injuries and were admitted to Ghatgaon Community Health Center.

They were declared dead by the doctors during treatment. Shiva Nandan is a resident of Jharkhand. He met with the accident while he was going to Golabandh village near Ghatgaon.

Dhenkikote police SI Trinath Nayak investigated the incident after seizing the damaged vehicles.
