Koraput: In a tragic incident, a minor boy and a minor girl drowned to death in a pond on Wednesday at Birahandi village in Anchala panchayat under Borigumma police limits in Koraput district.
The deceased have been identified as Nabina Amonatya (5) and Ramakrushna Amonatya (5).
According to reports, Nabina and Ramakrushna had gone to a pond near their houses for a wash when they met with a watery grave.
The kids were fished out dead from the pond.
The bodies of the deceased have been handed over to their families after the conduct of post-mortem at Borigumma Community Health Centre.
