2 Youths Killed In Road Mishap In Ganjam

Berhampur: A biker and his pillion rider were killed in a road accident on Dharakote-Mundamarai road in Ganjam district on Thursday.

According to reports, the accident occurred when the bike the two youths were riding was hit by a sand-laden dumper truck from the rear.

The deceased youths have been identified as Rinku Nahak and Rahul Nayak.

Rinku and Rahul were rushed to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Dharakote by the police.

However, they were declared dead by the attending doctors at the CHC.

Dharakote police have registered a case in this connection and have sent the bodies for conduct of post-mortem.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
