Bhubaneswar: At least 20 passengers sustained varying degrees of injuries after the bus they were travelling by overturned after hitting the truck at Boudh-Phulbani Getamunda Ghat in Odisha’s Boudh district on Monday morning. The injured have been admitted to Old Cuttack Hospital.
The bus was on its way to from Boudh to Baliguda with 23 passengers when it collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction. Under the impact of the collision, the bus overturned on the roadside.
Local people reached the spot and started rescue operations. On being informed, police and Fire Services personnel reached the spot and rushed the injured passengers to the hospital.
