20 Injured In Bus Accident In Gajapati, Four Critical

Paralakhemundi: At least 20 people were injured, including four seriously, when the bus they were traveling in met with an accident on Marlaba Ghat under Rayagada police limits in Gajapati district on Tuesday evening.

According to reports, the accident occurred while the bus was descending the ghat road. Upon receiving information, police and fire services personnel rushed to the scene and carried out a rescue operation. The injured passengers were immediately taken to Khajuripada Community Health Centre for treatment.

Later, the four critically injured individuals were shifted to Berhampur for advanced medical care.

The bus was traveling from Berhampur in Ganjam district to Paralakhemundi when the accident took place. Police is investigating the cause of the crash.
