20 Passengers Critically Hurt As Bus Falls Off Bridge In Subarnapur

Sonepur: As many as 20 persons sustained severe injuries when a night bus travelling from Subarnapur to Bhubaneswar met with an accident near Singhijuba village under Binika police station in Subarnapur district.

According to reports, the bus, which was moving at high speed, lost balance and fell off a bridge. Local residents rushed to the scene and rescued the trapped passengers.

Upon receiving the information, the fire brigade also arrived at the scene and initiated rescue operations.

The accident is reportedly attributed to the driver’s negligence, with widespread dissatisfaction expressed over the reckless driving.

The injured passengers are currently undergoing treatment, and police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the mishap.
