Bhadrak: At least 20 passengers were injured when a speeding bus skidded off the road near the Queental railway gate in Odisha’s Bhadrak district on Tuesday. The accident occurred when the driver of the bus named ‘Raghunath’ lost control of the wheels trying to save a cyclist.
According to reports, the bus was en route to Bhadrak from Kheira. All the passengers were admitted to the Bhadrak Medical Center.
The local people immediately rescued the injured and rushed them to the nearby hospital.
On being informed, Fire Services personnel and police rushed to the spot and helped in the rescue operation. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
