Koraput: A 20-year-old girl was found raped and murdered at a forest under Boriguma police limits on Sunday. The deceased was a resident of Chiliguda village.
Today morning, her body was found in a cashew forest in Boriguma. Soon after the news spread, a police team accompanied by forensic experts reached at the spot and conducted preliminary investigation.
The girl had come to the forest three days back but never returned home. The villagers have demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and strict action against them. Boriguma police have registered a case and investigating further.
