According to reports, 61 pilgrims left Nepal’s Banke district for pilgrimage to various shrines in India on September 27. On their way to Puri from Kolkata on Sunday morning, their bus hit a truck parked in front of an entertainment center beside National Highway No. 16 in Baranagar.

Of the 21 tourists, the condition of one is said to be critical while the remaining 20 were released after first aid treatment at Soro Hospital.
