Bhubaneswar: Another 23 persons have died due to COVID-19 in the State. As per the data on the Health Department’s COVID dashboard, the maximum 7 deaths have been confirmed in Khurda, followed by 3 in Sundergarh district.
In each of the districts – Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, and Kendrapara, two persons died due to COVID while in Jajpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Dhenkanal, one death (each) has been reported.
With this, the State’s COVID toll has surged to 8,689. At present, there are 30,493 active cases of COVID in the State.
