23 Passengers Injured As Bus Overturns In Rayagada

Rayagada: As many as 23 persons sustained severe injuries as the bus they were travelling in overturned near Mukundapur Ghati in Rayagada district in the wee hours of Thursday.

The incident occurred when the bus, carrying 45 passengers and bearing registration number OD-21-A-3777, was travelling from Berhampur to Rayagada.

According to reports, all passengers suffered minor injuries, and three are reported to be in critical condition. The injured have been admitted to the Rayagada District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.

Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported in the accident. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the mishap.
