Bhubaneswar: Odisha Food and Civil Supplies Minister Krushna Chandra Patra on Thursday inaugurated a food grain ATM ‘Annapurti’ at Mancheswar in Bhubaneswar. This ATM will have 24-hour availability of rice/wheat.
Inaugurating the novel ATM, Patra said, “The success of the food grain ATM will allow the consumers to snub the swindling PDS rice dealers and choose the facility for good,”.If this ATM works successfully, it will be opened in all districts and blocks of the state in the coming days, he added.
The food grain ATM facility can dispense 25 kg of rice/wheat at one time.
