25 Deputy Managers Join IDCO

Bhubaneswar: Minister of State for Industries Dibya Shankar Mishra today handed over ‘appointment letters’ to 25 persons as Deputy Managers in Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO).

Addressing the new appointees at a function to mark the occasion held at the IDCO conference hall today, the Minister said that IDCO has played a prominent role in changing Odisha’s image.

Mishra called upon the young officers to take a pledge on the very first day to work towards making the Chief Minister’s vision of making Odisha a part of the trillion economy a reality.

Mentioning that the construction of modern buildings like Krushi Bhawan, World Skill Centre and O-hub by IDCO have given a new identity to the State, the Minister asked the new appointees to remain prepared to take up more such spectacular constructions in the coming days.

Speaking on the occasion Principal Secretary Industries department Hemant Sharma told the newly appointed officers to always learn from others with respect and humility. Good behaviour will be helpful in creating a good image of the government, he added.

Citing that the young officers got the government job due to their skill and intelligence IDCO CMD Krishan Kumar said that they are among the few who have got an opportunity to serve the country.

At the outset, IDCO’s Executive Director Bhupendra Singh Poonia gave the welcome address.
