Bhubaneswar: 12 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Nuapada district today. Among them 11 have returned from Mumbai, while one is Hyderabad returnee, said District Collector Madhusmita Sahoo.
“Four among the new cases are symptomatic while eight are asymptomatic. All of them were inmates of temporary medical centres,” said Sahoo.
The Collector added that these persons are aged between 18 and 37 years. All of them are doing good and they will be shifted to Bolangir COVID hospital, she said.
On the other hand, 13 new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in Sundergarh. Four are from Rourkela while nine are from Sundergarh area. The nine positive cases in Rourkela are from quarantine centre and are Maharastra returnees, reports added.
