Bhubaneswar: Boudh recorded a maximum temperature 45 degree Celcius on Thursday which is the highest any place reported in this season so far.
While Odisha is sizzling, today, 25 places recorded a maximum temperature of 40 degrees or more, while 13 places recorded temperatures above 43 degrees.
Similarly, 8 places – Boudh, Bolangir, Deogarh, Sonepur, Titilagarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, and Angul recorded a maximum temperature of 44 degrees or more on Thursday.
On the other hand, Paradeep, Gopalpur, Chatrapur, and Puri recorded maximum temperature below 34 degrees. In Bhubaneswar and Cuttack the maximum daytime temperature was 39.8 degrees and 40 degrees respectively.
