Bhubaneswar: Taking strict action against fertilizer black marketing, the Jharsuguda district agriculture officer, block agriculture officer, and fertilizer inspector carried out a raid and seized 26 bags of urea fertilizer that were being sold illegally at Kirmira.
According to sources, the secretary of the Kirmira Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) was found involved in this black marketing. The district agriculture officer, block agriculture officer, and fertilizer inspector reached the spot and took action after local farmers reported the issue. An FIR has been registered against the PACS secretary, and further investigation is underway.
