Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu will present the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman to eminent Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and the organisations established by them in India and abroad on the concluding day of the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention on Friday.
The Pravasi Bharatiya Samman recognises and honours the NRIs and PIO for their work and contribution to ‘Viksit Bharat’. This year 27 NRIs and PIO will receive the honour for their achievements in different fields. The recipients of the award this year are:
