The Traffic Police Station has been sanctioned with sufficient workforce including one Inspector, six Sub-Inspectors, 10 Assistant Sub-Inspectors, 10 Havildars and 140 Constables. Out of the 140 sanctioned constable posts, 120 posts have been filled, said the DGP.
Posting of constables in a large number will help in traffic management and enforcement. It will help in addressing public complaints in regard to the chronic problem of traffic management in peak hours, Sharma added. He further urged the public for their support in enforcement of traffic rules.
