Koraput: Three government officers i.e. the Tehsildar, Additional Tehsildar, and former Tehsildar of Pottangi has been suspended on charges of misappropriation of funds to the tune of Rs 4 crores.
Reportedly, Pottangi Tehsildar Haripada Mandal, Additional Tehsildar Mahadev Bhatra, and former Tehsildar Arun Kumar Khanda have been suspended.
The trio along with clerk Sudhir Kumar Sahoo had allegedly embezzled funds of the office of the Sub-Registrar during the timespan of 2017 to 2022.
Clerk Sahoo had been suspended 10 days back and he is currently absconding.
