Bhubaneswar: Three persons have been arrested and a vehicle has been seized in connection with the attack on female Sub-Inspector Subhashree Nayak in Bhubaneswar.

Reportedly, Sub-Inspector Nayak of Mahila Police Station was returning from duty on Monday night when she was chased by some miscreants in an SUV near the reserve barrack in Bhubaneswar.

DCP Prateek Singh had informed that on the basis of a complaint lodged by the Sub Inspector, a case had been registered by Saheed Nagar Police.

There was an argument between Nayak and the driver of the SUV on overtaking, which led to the unsavoury act by the occupants of the SUV.
