Baripada: Three persons were killed and two injured in a deadly road mishap on State Highway 19, about 20 kms from here. The accident occured when a mini truck collided with an autorickshaw in between Baripada and Deuli near Bankisole. The injured persons were shifted to Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and Hospital.
Sadar police and local Fire Service unit rushed to the spot and retrieved the bodies of the deceased. Overspeeding led to the mishap said sources. The deceased are yet to be identified. A case has been registered by the local police in this connection and the bodies were sent for autopsy.
