Bhubaneswar: In a gruesome incident, three members of a family were hacked to death by their neighbour in Sambalpur district today. The incident occurred at Napada village under Mahulapali police limits.
According to reports, a woman, her daughter and son-in-law were allegedly killed by their neighbour. A police team led by Sambalpur SP Kunwar Vishal Singh have rushed to the spot and initiated a probe.
A case has been registered in this connection and investigation has started, the police said. Preliminary police investigation revealed that the incident is a fallout of a land dispute. Further detail in this case is awaited.
