3 Sundargarh College Staff Accused Of Racist Remarks, Molestation

Sundargarh: A female employee of Sarbati Devi Women’s College in Rajgangpur area in Sundargarh district has alleged critical charges of misbehavior, molestation and racist remarks against the college’s Principal, a Lecturer, and a Clerk. As a result, the Clerk was put under suspension and action is pending against the Lecturer and the Principal.

The victim alleged that the clerk Panu Charan Paikray molested her multiple times but no action was taken against him. Additionally, she also charged Lecturer Sapan Kumar Panda of making casteist comments frequently. Further, she alleged the Principal C.M. Patel of remaining in an inebriated state in the college and taking no action against her complaints.

Losing all hope, she lodged an online complaint at Sundargarh SP who has promised to look into the matter.

Meanwhile, Principal Patel denied having knowledge of this matter and asserted that he actually is a teetotaler.

Based on the complaint, Paikray has been suspended and action is pending against Patel and Panda.
