30 Passengers Injured As Mini Bus Overturns In Odisha’s Gajapati

Gajapati: Thirty passengers sustained varying degrees of injuries after a mini-bus overturned in Mohana on Monday morning. The accident took place at Bamunmala ghat under Adaba police limits in Odisha’s Gajapati district.

According to reports, over 30 passengers were injured while 10, including 3 pregnant women, sustained critical injuries.

The minibus, going from Ladiguda to Adaba, was carrying over 40 passengers and it overturned near Kudukima village under Adaba police station limits of Mohana district in Odisha. According to a preliminary investigation, the driver of the bus was driving at a very high speed and lost control of the wheels resulting in the mishap.

Soon after the accident, the locals rushed to rescue the passengers and police also reached the spot.

The injured have been admitted to the Barkote Hospital in Mohana.
