Bhubaneswar: As many as 30 scooters were charred when a container carrying them caught fire on the Chhatrapur Bypass Road in Ganjam district, on Friday.
The incident occurred when the container, which was on its way from Pratapgarh to Andhra Pradesh, suddenly caught fire near the Ujjaleswari temple area.
Firefighters quickly responded to the scene and managed to bring the blaze under control, but by the time all the scooters were destroyed.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and investigations are likely underway to assess the damage and determine the origin of the blaze.
