Sundargarh: At least 30 students of Bonai Sevashram School in Odisha’s Sundargarh district suddenly fell ill and were admitted to the Bonai Hospital. While some students recovered after preliminary treatment and returned home, 10 others are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

According to reports, about 30 to 40 students suddenly fell ill in Baidpalli School in Babunuagaon village in the district on Saturday night after consuming food. They complained of headaches and heartburn. They were rushed to the Bannai Hospital and most of the students were released and sent to their hostel after treatment on Sunday. Another 10 students are undergoing treatment. Doctors suspect that it was a case of food poisoning.

On being informed, police and Sevashram staff reached the hospital and investigated the matter.
