Baripada: As many as 32 electric vehicles were reduced to ashes after a fire broke out at an electric vehicle showroom at Baripada city in Mayurbhanj district in the wee hours of Saturday morning.
As per reports, the blaze, which occurred at the Kinetic Green showroom at Dargadahi Bazaar, was brought under control by two fire tenders. It took almost two hours to them to contain the flames.
The Kinetic Green showroom suffered an estimated loss of Rs 60 lakh, with no casualties reported. The cause is suspected to be a short circuit.
