3rd COVID-19 Positive Case In Bhubaneswar, Had No Foreign Travel History

Bhubaneswar: A patient has been tested positive for the Coronavirus in Bhubaneswar today evening. This is the third COVID-19 positive case identified in the State so far.

According to a Tweet posted by the Health and Family Welfare Department, the person in question is a 60 year old male belonging to Bhubaneswar.

Informed sources said, the patient had no foreign travel history. However, he had been to Delhi and NCR (National Capital Region) recently, preliminary investigation revealed.

The H&FW Department's Tweet read:

"One more sample has tested positive for @COVID19 in the State. This makes the number of positive cases 3 and all are from Bhubaneswar."

"The latest @COVID19 positive case in the State is a 60 years old male. Contact tracing exercise has commenced."

The Health Department urged one and all to follow the lockdown advisory. "No need to panic. Stay home, stay safe," the Department stated.
