Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Monday served show cause notices to Amaresh Jena and Biranchi Narayan Mahasupakar Corporators of Ward No.45 & 59 of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) respectively for alleged involvement in indiscipline.
The BJD has also issued show cause notices to Vivek Swain, State Secretary, Biju Chhatra Janata Dal, and Rajesh Patra, President, BYJD, Ekamra, Bhubaneswar for alleged involvement in indiscipline activities.
The show cause notices were issued by BJD’s District President Sushant Rout.
“It has come to the knowledge of the Party President that you are involved with indiscipline activities inside the Party.
As directed by the Party President, you are hereby called upon to explain within 15 days of the receipt of this letter as to why disciplinary action shall not be initiated against you for such indiscipline activities,” read the letters issued by Rout to the above mentioned BJD leaders.
