Baripada: Mayurbhanj District and Sessions Judge (I) Suresh Chandra Pradhan today sentenced four persons to undergo life imprisonment after convicting them for murder.
The court also slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 on each of the convicts.
On default to pay the fine, the convicts have to undergo additional six months of imprisonment.
The convicts have been identified as Chaitan Prasad Hansda, Baidhar Hansda (30), Baidhar Hansda (50) and Bartan Hansda.
They were convicted for the murder of a man in Dangarbila village in 2018.
