Berhampur: A robbery attempt here was foiled with the nabbing of a four-member dacoit gang in Gopalpur area by the police.
Four members of the dacoit gang were apprehended during checking by Gopalpur police near Pathra Chhak.
Police have seized 235 gm of gold, 60 gm of silver and arms from their possession.
The accused have been identified as Tuna Patra, Ganesh Patra, T Bisu and K Prakash, police said.
They have several cases of loot pending against their names at various police stations, police added.
