Bhawanipatna: Four persons of a marriage party were killed after the Bolero they were travelling in rammed into a truck at Turlakhaman under Kesinga police limits of Kalahandi district late Monday night.
Reportedly, after attending a wedding at Pipalpadar, around 11 persons were returning in the Bolero to Siskela in Balangir district when the vehicle rammed into a paddy-laden truck.
Four persons including three women died while seven others were injured. All the injured persons were first rushed to the nearest hospital from where they were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Bhawanipatna.
An injured child among them was further shifted to Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla.
