Cuttack: Since the 44th Junior National Kabaddi Championship-2017 for both boys and girls is slated to be held from December 12 to 15 at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium here organized by Odisha Kabaddi Association (OKA) under the aegis of Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India, mascot Olly was unveiled on Friday.

Gracing the special ceremony of held in Barabati Stadium-based St Xaviers High School, Cuttack District Collector Sushant Kumar Mohapatra unveiled mascot Olly for the sporting extravaganza.

While 30 States are going to participate in the mega Kabaddi tournament, over 800 boys and girls as well as 200 observers are scheduled to participate, as per a press note by the OKA. OKA sources also said that Olly macot would go around the schools in Cuttack district from December 1 to 10 in a bid to encourage and popularize the game of Kabaddi.
