**Bolangir:** Around 45 students fell sick after allegedly consuming iron tablets given in the Project Upper Primary School at Belpada of Thudibahal here on Monday afternoon.
According to reports, the students were admitted to the Belpada Community Health Center (CHC) after they complained of headache. The health of 12 students deteriorated following which they were rushed to the Bolangir District Headquarters Hospital on Tuesday.
Duryodhana Majhi, one of the student admitted here said, “We were given iron tablets post lunch following which many of us had severe headache. We were admitted to the CHC initially but when the headache became severe and some started vomiting, we were rushed admitted at the Bolangir DHH.”
“I am feeling better now”, he added. Reportedly, these students are stated to be stable now.
