5 Cows Electrocuted After Snapped Live Wire Falls On Them In Balasore

Balasore: As many as five cows died and one was seriously injured after coming into contact with a live electric wire at Kattisahi village under Baliapal police station area in Balasore district.

The incident happened when a snapped electric wire fell into a field near Pantha Gadia Pada, where the cows were grazing. According to locals, the live wire was connected to a private cello, which had an illegal electricity connection. This is not the first such incident, and locals have been complaining about the frequent accidents due to such unauthorized connections.

The affected cattle owners have demanded immediate compensation for the loss and strict action against the cello owner who made the illegal connection. Locals are demanding action to prevent such incidents in the future.
